Seamless TransactionsPosted by Mary Anne Gale in Untagged |
Thanks to all for your patience as we work through the quirks of getting our online ordering system up and running. I’ve been ordering products and paying bills over the internet for years, so I have a newfound appreciation for all of the work that goes into making online transactions seamless!
Despite moments of frustration, I do see a connection between technology challenges and Running for Office: Every day, you have an opportunity to create seamless transactions with your coworkers, your boss, and your boss’s boss and peers. You will not help yourself if you focus on perfection at all costs, but it is to your advantage to take a few minutes to think about how your work – a report or presentation or email – will be received by others. Are there little things you can do to make your work easy to access and easy to understand? By thinking things through from others’ perspectives, you will, over time, build a reputation as one who delivers seamless solutions.
